You may experience some redness, rashing or welting following your waxing service. These symptoms are normal for many people and only last a day or two.
If you are planning a vacation, please be sure to schedule your waxing service two days prior to your departure. Please do not sun bathe or use a tanning bed 24 hours before or after waxing services. Newly waxed skin is more sensitive to the sun and will burn easily.
During pregnancy or menstruation, many women may experience more sensitive skin. During this time, bruising or increased redness may occur, especially around the bikini area.
We recommend that waxing services be performed when the hair growth has reached 1/8" to 1/4" in length or you have 3 to 4 weeks of hair growth. After 6 to 8 services, you may experience a more even hair growth. As you continue waxing, you may notice reduced hair growth and the re-growth will be softer and lighter in color.
We regret that we cannot perform waxing on clients who are taking Accutane or are using Retin A due to the sensitivity these products cause to the skin.
